Bare Conductor 795 mcm ACSR conductor with ASTM Standard
1.Describe
ACSR cable is composed by bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminium wires with a straight round central steel reinforced wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically layed aluminium wires.
2. Standard
ASTM B 231, BS 215-1, DIN48201, IEC 61089
3. Application:
(1)ACSR cable is used in ovedhead electric power transmission and distribution lines with various grade voltages. (2)Under the same weight, ACSR is with higher DC resistance and lower cost than copper conductor.
(3). Aluminium is light and easy to lay
