Application
For Underground Cable 6.6kV 35kV 120mm2 185mm2 240mm2 XLPE Insulated Power Cable,either chemical method or physical method is employed to transform the molecular structure of PE from chain into three-dimensional network, i.e. thermo-plastic PE is transformed into thermosetting XLPE.
The Rated Voltage(kV):
1st class 0.6/1 1.8/3 3.6/6 6/10 8.7/15 12/20 18/30 21/35 2nd class 1/1 3/3 6/6 8.7/10 12/15 18/20 – 26/35
Operating Characteristic:
Max: short-circuit temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250°C(5s maximum duration):
Cross section of conductor≤300mm2 160°C
Cross section of conductor>300mm2 140°C
The ambient temperature under installation of cable should not below 0°C
The bending radius of cable should not less than 10 times of diameter of the cable.
In Air
1.The single-core cables are paralleled laid, the distance between the cable center is 2 times diameter of the cable for cross section of conductor ≤185mm2 and 90mm for cross section of conductor≥240 mm2
2.Ambient air temperature: 40°C
3.Max.Permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor: 70°C
In ground
1.when the single-core cables are installed separately, the distance between the cable’s centers is 2 times diameter of the cable.
2.Solid temperature: 25°C
3.Max. Permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor: 70°C
4.Solid thermal resistivity: 10°Cm/w
5.Depth of laying: 0.7m
