Description & features:
Cathodic protection cable is a stranded copper conductor with a dual insulation construction. The inner insulation is conposed of Kynar, a fluoropolymer material that has exceptional chemical resistance in the presents of chlorine,sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid. The outer insulation is high molecular weight polyethlene (HMWPE) compound that provides superior dielectric and tensile strength, mechanical protection and can withstand considerable abuse during installation.
Application:
Suitable for direct burial for use in cathodic protection systems for pipelines, storage tanks, pilings, well casings, cables, marine crafts and other buried or water submerged metallic structures.
