Single Core Aluminum Conductor PVC Insulated Concentric Cable 16mm Low voltage cable

 1. MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTION
1.1. The cable shall be designed and manufactured in accordance with Kenya Standard
KS 04-1022 and the requirements of this specification.
1.2. Phase Conductor
1.2.1 The phase conductor shall be circular stranded annealed Aluminum conductors
(class 2) as specified in KS 04-1022. The phase conductor shall have a left-hand direction
of lay.
1.2.2 The insulation of the phase conductor shall be red PVC compound specified in KS
04-1022. It shall be applied by an extrusion process and shall be spark tested in
accordance with KS 04-1022.
1.2.3 The thickness of insulation, determined in accordance with KS 04-1022, shall be not
less than the value given in Table 2 of this specification and the smallest of the measured
values shall not fall below the value given in the said table by more than (10% + 0.1mm).
1.3. Concentric Layer
1.3.1 The neutral conductor shall be concentric and shall be manufactured from plain
annealed aluminum wires in accordance with KS 04-1022. The number of wires and the

resistance of the neutral conductor shall comply with Table 2 of this specification.
1.3.2 The concentric layer shall be applied with a right hand direction of lay.
1.4. Oversheath
1.4.1 The oversheath shall be an extruded layer of black PVC compound as specified in
KS 04-1022. The oversheath shall be spark tested in accordance with KS 04-1022.
1.4.2 The minimum thickness of the oversheath shall not fall below the value given in
Table 2 of this specification by an amount more than (15% + 0.1mm).

1. There is a professional design engineer team, before manufacturing, all of the product drawing will be approved by CSBTS (State Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision), and then the cable could be produced only if qualified.

2. To ensure the raw materials quality, all the copper are special-used for cable with the Inspection Certificates. The raw material is inspected when entering factory, and only the qualified material could be put in storage and used for production.

3. To ensure the product quality, there is a professional high level quality laboratory, most of the key technology date will be checked by high precision instrument.

1.100% all material must be tested.

2.All semi-finished products must be tested before entering the next process.

3.All finished products must be tested before packaging.

4.Commissioned by the authority of the third-party certification testing company for sampling.

Our electrical cable export packing is specially made to ensure that the quality of the products will be not affected during the transportation. Our electrical cable is using electrical cable wheel for the packing, the wheel can be all steel, steel frame and fumigated wood, or fumigated wooden cases. We are using different packing for different length of the cable, to ensure there  will be no problem during the delivery of the products.

      1. If the diameter of the wheel is longer than 2 meters, we are using all steel wheel to pack the products

      2. If the diameter of the wheel is between 1.4meters to 1.8meters, we are using steel frame and fumigated wood to pack the products.

      3. If the diameter of the wheel is less than 1.4meters, we will use the fumigated wooden wheel to pack the products

      4. For the packing of the electrical wires and small quantity of cables, we will use the fumigated wooden box to pack.
