1.Applications

 

AAAC,AAC,ACSR,AACSR,ACSR/AW Conductors have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels,because they have such good characteristics as simple structure,convenient installation and maintenance,low cost large transmission capacity.And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.

Considering the cost of inputs from the view of energy, although ACCC has higher investment cost at the beginning, it can save energy for at least 25% (here only take the DC resistance into consideration)if considering the steel core hysteresis loss effect and corona phenomenon, the application of ACCC conductors can save energy for more than 30%; In addition, ACCC conductors can guarantee the long term running at 160 ℃ (when the operating temperature  is higher than 70 ℃ until 160℃, the sag of the ACCC wire line has almost no change that can fully guarantee the safe distance to the ground when working in high temperature, thus it can be used as high temperature wire), Moreover, it retains twice transport currency after the completion of the line that don’t need to consider to transform the line when the transport capacity increases in the future.
