1.Application
The conductors are suitable for use in all practical spans on wood poles, transmission towers,and other structures.
Application range from extra high voltage(EHV) transmission lines to sub-service spans at distribution or utilization voltages on private premises.
AAC(All Aluminum Conductor) has a long service record because of its economy ,dependability, and strength to weight ratio.
The combined light weight and high conductivity of aluminum with strength of the steel cores enable higher tensions ,less sag,and longer spans than any alternative.
2. ALL ALUMINIUM CONDUCTORS (AAC)
Applications
Used as bare overhead conductor for distribution lines. Because of its poor strength to weight ratio,
AAC has limited use in Transmission lines. AAC is extinsively used in urban areas where spans are usually short but high conductivity is required.

AAC bare conductor can be supplied to meet various International Specifications like ASTM, BS, CSA, DIN, IEC. etc.

3. ALL ALUMINIUM ALLOY CONDUCTORS (AAAC)
Applications
Used as bare overhead conductor for power distribution lines. Designed utilizing a high-strength aluminium alloy
to achieve a high strength -to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics. Aluminium alloy gives AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR.

AAAC bare conductor can be supplied to meet various International Specifications like ASTM, BS, CSA, DIN, IEC. etc.
Construction
Aluminium alloy 6201 wires, concentrically stranded from 7 strands to 61 strands depending upon the size.

Applications
ACSR has the established reputation for economy and dependibility in power transmission lines.
Also used for primary and secondary distribution lines.
Wide range of steel content from 7% to 40% can be achieved by different strandings, to meet desired strength.

ACSR bare conductor can be supplied to meet vars International specifications like ASTM, BS, CSA, DIN, IEC. etc.
Construction
EC Grade Aluminium wires concentrically stranded over a steel core. The steel core wire is zinc coated.
Various grades of coating is available. The steel core can also be 'aluminized' to produce ACSR/AZ or Aluminium clad' to produce ACSR/AW.
