Application

Medium voltage aerial power distribution. Transformer feeders, power plants, industrial and operation installations, in places where underground networks cannot be possible, mining installations, tree-lined urban zones or with little space.

 

Construction

1. Conductor: Aluminium, class 2.

2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.

3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE.

4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.

These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.

5. Screen: Aluminium tapes.

6. Phase outer sheath: Polyethylene PE.

7. Messenger: Galvanized stranded steel wire.

8. Messenger sheath: Polyethylene PE.

 

Main characteristics

Conductor temperature of 90ºC for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Good resistance to traction. Excellent properties against heat aging. Resistance to abrasion, sunlight, weather, ozone, acids, alkalis and other chemical substances at normal temperatures.
