What is XLPE insulated power cable?

XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages than paper insulted and PVC insulated cables. XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resistance, environment stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.

Aluminum Alloy wire armoured cable, compose of cable conductor, conductor shielding layer wrapped on the cable conductor, the insulating layer, insulation shielding layer, the metal shielding layer, filling layer and outer sheath, which is characterized in that: the filler layer and outer sheath is arranged the armoring layer composed of Aluminum Alloy wire.

-> Conductor:

Aluminum Conductors upto 1000 sq mm will be circular compacted & stranded and shall comply with IEC-60228 Class 2.

-> Insulation layer:

Insulation layer adopts 90℃ cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE), has excellent physical properties, heat resistance, aging resistance, can effectively reduce the insulation thickness, during burning can not release corrosive gases and toxic gases, the environmental protection characteristics meet modern fire safety requirements.

-> Winding layer:

Winding layer uses high strength, water resistance, can degrade environmental protection type filling paper, so that the cable in the vertical installation can not slip.

-> Armored layer:

The armored layer adopts 5000 Series Aluminum Alloy material, non magnetic material installation will not produce sparks, operation does not produce eddy current, good heat dissipation performance, flexible solid, anti-pressure ability is much higher than steel armor, convenient installation, free tray installation, saves wire slot, speed up the construction progress and reduce installation cost.
