ASTM B8 (Concentric-Lay-Stranded Copper Conductors, Hard, Medium-Hard, or Soft.)
- Conductor: Soft annealed, or hard-drawn copper, solid per ASTM B1 or B3, compressed Class B or A stranding, or unilay-compressed per ASTM B8.
- Insulation: Black thermoplastic polyethylene (HDPE), high density or XLPE insulation.
- Neutral: Hard drawn bare copper.
