Application: It applies to electrical appliances, instrument and telecom device with rated voltage up to and including 450/750 volts. The main features of the flame retardant cable or wire is hard to catch on fire or that the continuous burning of cable is very limited when it is on fire. It applies to place with special demands for flame retardant property. Flame retardant cable is classified as class A,B,C or D. Among the 4 class, class A is the best.
Main chatactersistics of cable (wire):
1) Rated voltage Uo/U 450/750 volt, 300/500 volt or 300/300 volt.
2) Permissible continuous working temperature of cable conductor,-for type of cable RV-105°C and BV-105°C, the temperature should be less than 105°C, what's more, the temperature should be not less than 70 °C.
3) Ambient temperature should be not less than 0, and permissible bending radius of cable for fixed connecting should be as follows during installation, for O.D less than 25 millimeter, equal to or greater than 4 times O.D.for O.D.not less than 25 millimeter,equal to or greater than 6 times O.D.
4) Flame retardant cable should pass the best of bunched cables or wires under fire condition which is described in the stardards of GB/T8380.3-2001or IEC60332-3.
5) Low smoke,low halogen, flame retardant cable should pass the test of flame retardant described in GB/T19216.21-2003 or IEC
