QUADRUPLEX SERVICE DROP-ALUMINUM CONDUCTOR

1. Application

Used to supply 3 phase power, usually from a polemounted transformer, to the user’s service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltage of 600 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75℃ for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90℃ for crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE) insulated conductors.

2. Construction

Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum, insulated with either polyethylene XLPE crosslinked polyethylene. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded 6201,AAC,or ACSR. One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.

3. Specifications

Quadruplex service drop cable meets or exceeds the following ASTM Specifications:

B-230 Aluminum Wire,1350-H19 for electrical Purposes.

B-231 Aluminum Wire,1350-H19 for electrical Purposes.

B-232 Aluminum conductors ,Concentric-Lay-Stranded, Coated Steel Reinforced(ACSR)

B-399 Concentric-Lay-Stranded,6201-T81 Aluminum.

Service Drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ICEA S-79-474.

4. Note

Designated sizes are: ACSR 6/1 diameter equivalent and ACC with equivalent resistivity pre ASTM B-399 for 6201.

Conductor temperature of 90℃ for XLPE, 75℃ for poly, ambient temperatures of 40℃;emissivity 0.9;2ft./sec.Wind in sun.

1.100% all material must be tested.

2.All semi-finished products must be tested before entering the next process.

3.All finished products must be tested before packaging.

4.Commissioned by the authority of the third-party certification testing company for sampling.

1. What is the min.order quantity ?

It depends on the type and size of electrical wires and cables. For some small electrical wires, 100 meters can be accepted .But for the power cables with medium or high voltage, that should comply with the property of installed equipments. Anyhow,we will try our best to solve the problem and meet with the requirement If you have special request.

2. What is the production capacity per week or per month ?
For the bare conductor, we can finish 3000 tons within one month. For power cables, that depends on the type and size. The total output value per month is approx. USD3,000,000.00 for insulated aluminum cables and that is approx.USD8,000,000.00 for insulated copper cables.
