1. Application:

The 33kv power cable, the rated voltage is 18/30(36)kv, can be used for laying indoor, tunnel, underground and canal, with XLPE insulated.  The cores can be single core or 3 cores.

2. Performance Characteristics:

  The max conductor temperature for XLPE insulation is 90 degree;

  The max conductor temperature for short circuit( not more than 5s) is 250 degree.

3. Constructure:

Conductor: the conductor is the style 1 or 2 of IEC 60228, the bare annealed copper wire or metallized                               annealed copper wire, or bare aluminium wire or aluminium alloy wire; or the style 5 for 33kv                              240mm2  power cable.

Conductor screen: semi-conductor material

Insulation material: thermoset material: XLPE ( crosslinked polyethylene).

Insulation screen:  semi-conductor material layer and copper shieding layer.

inner covering and filler: for the 33kv, the extruding and wrapping can both be used for inner covering layer.

                                      if it's multi-core cable, it need to be filled full before wrapping;

                                      The binder tape can be used before extruded inner covering layer.

Metallic armour: The round or steel/aluminium wire or tape can all be used for armouring layer according to different application.
