1    Main Application

Concentric cable is a type of cable with a combined neutral and earth wire completely surrounds the core, Suitable for electrical network, are used in service entrances replacing low voltage bundled cables in order to avoid energy robbery. Also suitable for sub main distribution and particularly used within high-rise buildings

and street lighting systems.

IEC60502-1, IEC 60228, BS7870-3, IEC60332, SANS 1570 etc.

3   Product Properties

•Temperature Range:-15°C to 50°C

• Nominal Voltage: U0/U 0.6/1kV

•Test Voltage: 3.5kV/5min

• Permit long-term operating temperature: 90°C or 75°C

• Minimum Bending Radius: 15x cable overall diameter 

 

4   Construction

Conductor: Plain circular solid or stranded copper or aluminium conductor, conform to IEC60228 Class 1 or Class 2 according to IEC 60228 

Insulation: XLPE, PE , PVC (ultraviolet (UV) – proof)

Color identification  :

1 Core: Red or Black

2 Cores: Red, Black

Above 2 Cores: Black Cores with White numerals

The above identifying can be changed as order

Concentric layer: Neutral conductor (blue) & an uninsulated CPC (Circuit protective conductor)

Note: We can also design and produce for special application requirement.(For example: With Pilot/Communication core)

Separate tape : non-hygroscopic tape (PET or PP )

Ripcord : nylon material

Outer Sheath/Jacket:PVC or PE (ultraviolet (UV) – proof), black

3. How can I get a sample to check your quality?

After price confirmation, you can require for samples to check our quality. Sample is free, but the freight charge should be paid.

 

4. What is Minimum Order Quantity?

Generally, 1000 meters for building wire. For power cable, armored or unarmored, 500 meters.

 

5. Which standards for your products?

We can produce wire and cable according to international standards: IEC, ASTM, BS, DIN, SANS, CSA or as customers’ requirement.

 

6. How about delivery time?

If we have stock, delivery would be very quick. For the newly-produced products, 15 to 25 days for production.

 

7. Payment terms:

Normally 30% paid as prepayment, balance paid before delivery. Or 100% L/C at sight.

 

8. What is your packing?

Our electrical cable is using electrical cable wheel for the packing, the wheel can be all steel, steel frame and fumigated wood, or fumigated wooden cases. We are using different packing for different length of the cable, to ensure there will be no problem during the delivery of the products.
