0.6/1kV PVC insulated power cable is of great electric capability.Aslo it is of good chemical stabilization, simple structure, easy operation and convenient for installation. It is widely applied for transformer circuit with the rated voltage of 6000V or under.

Standard
Chinese standard GB/T12706-2002 (equivalent to IEC 60505).

The factory can manufacture the product according to the British Standard (BS) and other standards. Based on the requirements of customers, we can design and manufacture the product with special performance. The PVC insulated power cable is used for the fixed laying of transmission and distribution electrical lines with 50 HZ AC and rated voltage up to 6 kV.

Property for Use
Long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductive: ≤ 70℃.
During short circuit (max. permanent time is not more than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of cable conductor is: ≤ 165℃.
The level difference of laying cable is not restricted. When laying the cable, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0℃.
PVC insulated power cable has good chemical stability and properties of acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance and flame resistance.
Product is of light weight, good bending property and is easy to install and maintain.

1. What is the difference between XLPE cable and PVC cable? 

PVC – Poly Vinyl chloride ; XLPE – Cross linked Poly Ethylene

PVC :  thermo plastic ;  XLPE: thermosetting plastic. 

PVC can withstand temperatures up to 70°C ; XLPE can do 90°C.

PVC costs lower with large market, XLPE costs higher with smaller market.
