This cable is designed specifically for the transmission of high currents from electric welding machines to the welding tool on automatically or manually operated line and spot welding machines.

Welding cable is also suitable for most assembly lines and conveyor systems in the automobile, ship building, and tool making industries.  Even under the influence of ozone, light, oxygen, protective gases and oils, H01N2-D cables remain to retain their flexibility. The robust jacket and the construction of the cable aids in the resistance to both hot and cold temperatures as well as making it flame retardant and making it suitable for use outdoors in dry or damp conditions.

Welding cable designed for the secondary(high curred) conneaction to automatic or hand-held matal arc welding electrodes. It is suitable for flexible use under rugged conditions, on assembly lines and conveyor systems, in machine tool and automatically operated line and spot welding machines.

Construction:

Conductor: High conductivity, bare annealed copper flexible conductor.

Sheath:Double sheathed with specially developed thermoplastic Elastomer(TPR/TPE),outer layer is orange coloured.

Current Rating:

The maximum current ratings of flexible welding cables for different duty cycles and based on an ambient air temperature of 25℃ and a maximum conductor temperature of 90 ℃. The percentage duly cycles for various processes and applications are as follows:

Volatage Drop: When total cable lengths in excess of 15 mtr., are involved, it may be necessary to use cables of large cross section to ensure that the voltage drop is not excessive and welding currents are maintained at adequate levels.
