1.Scope 
This specification descriptions describes single conductor polyvinylchloride(PVC) Insulated,600V dual rated type TW/THW. It is intended forground wire and other genneral purpose power wiring. It is suitable for lighting and power in residential, conmmercial and industrial applications with circuits at temperatures from -25 degree to 75degree in wet or dry locations per NEC Artice 310 and NFPA Standard 70. This product complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC known as ROHS. 

 

2. Standard 

* ASTM B-1,B-3, and B-8 for copper conductors.

* Underwriters Laboratories (UL/CUL) Standard as follows : 83(TW/THW) for thermoplastic Insulated wire. 

3. Conductor

Solid or Stranded Copper ,Hard uncoated Copper per UL83 and ASTM requirements. 

4. Insulation 

polyvinylchloride (PVC) Insulated and applied tightly to the conductor in a concentric manner.

According to the customers' requirement

6. Testing

The wire shall be continuously spark tested at 7500Volts DC. other electrical and mechanical tests shall be in accordance with UL1581. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bare conductor: AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR,ACSR/AW conductor;

ABC Overhead Cable: Duplex,Triplex, Quadruplex service drop,and so on;

Concentric cable: Aluminum/Aluminum-alloy/Copper conductor,one/ multi-core optional;

PVC Insulation Wire: Solid/Flexible Aluminum/Copper wire;

Power cable: Copper/Aluminum conductor PVC/ XLPE/PE insulated armoured/non-armoured PVC sheath, etc.
