Application

Medium voltage aerial power distribution. Transformer feeders, power plants, industrial and operation installations, in places where underground networks cannot be possible, mining installations, tree-lined urban zones or with little space.

 

Construction

1. Conductor: Compact stranded aluminium, class 2.

2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.

3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).

4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.

These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.

5. Screen: Aluminium tapes.

6. Outer sheath: Polyethylene PE.

7. Messenger: Galvanized stranded steel wire.

8. Sheath: Polyethylene PE.

 

Main characteristics

Conductor temperature of 90ºC for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Good resistance to traction. Excellent properties against heat aging. Resistance to abrasion, sunlight, weather, ozone, acids, alkalis and other chemical substances at normal temperatures. Flame retardant.

Non returnable wooden reels.
